About Madison Forró

Madison Forró is a volunteer-led community of people who love forró and want to help it grow. We also attend local live music events and support Madison’s forró band – Forró Fo Sho – whenever they perform.

Free forró dance lessons

Forró is a social partner dance and musical tradition from northeastern Brazil. Known for its close connection, playful footwork, and welcoming atmosphere, forró is danced at festivals, community gatherings, and live music events around the world.
